Hi all
When I put my K7 on its centre stand both wheels are on the deck (solidly) when I took measurements it was wrong by 17mm, previous owner had done some “work” and welded them on the the frame in the wrong place, so I have cut them off (pig of a job due to lack of space)
I have now got them off, and my plan is to assemble the centre stand pivots complete and the offer it up to the frame , then when I have it in the correct position, tack it into place with a couple of good tacks try it out  and if satisfactory then weld it fully.
Does this sound right to you ,or have you got any better ideas .
I just need to get the bike so that it sits right on its stand
Cheers

« on: April 19, 2020, 04:03:41 PM »
Hi all
What can I use the clean the engine so that it looks “new” the bike is a K7 and it is not filthy by any means, but it could look much better,
And also I was looking at triggers build for less than a grand, what are you using to polish the brake backplate etc it’s turned out luverllly.

CB750 / Uk spec handle bars
« on: April 18, 2020, 11:32:15 AM »
Hi all
My us spec 750 k7 has aftermarket handlebars on with no wiring guides (through the handles)
Will the handle bars from an earlier model (k0-k4)fit then I can feed the wires through the bars and tidy it up.
Also anybody know where I can get the front Honda name emblem for between the forks, I have seen the trims but not the name.
Please be patient as my computer skills are a tiny bit above non existent,,especially the damn spell check/corrector
Cheers

New Member Introductions / Hi everybody
« on: April 18, 2020, 11:23:50 AM »
Hi all
I am a newbie and am returning to the biking fraternity after a gap of 40 years.
I have bought a cb750 k7 us import for restoration. Once I get it up and running to a satisfactory standard I will go and do some training before I take it on the road again( I’m not brave enough to just go for it)
I hope to pick all of your brains and experience and participate wholeheartedly in the forums.
I would like to think that eventually I can share my experience with others
Cheers
Steve
