No, Not the film about a Jamacian bobsleigh team,
The CB650 has been running great while the weather has been nice, tried to go to work the morning (-1 'king cold) everything was fine until I hit traffic and had to slow down, very ropy running wouldn't idle, It was doing this earlier in the year but only on REALLY cold days - plugs really foul up as if choke is open
-
Any Idea what this hole is for??????
-
I think that it might be a blanked off hole that on the other side of the carb would have a pipe linking the carbs to allow fuel to flow fron one to the other, just based on apparent similarities with the cb500 carbs in bits that litter my workshop...... ???
-
I don't remeber ever seeing it before, so I assume it must have had a blank or somthing over it, could this be causing my running rich problems?
-
Took the carbs off and cleaned the Choke mechanism, chargedf the battery and went for a spin yesterday, drives like a dream, but still worried about the poor running on a cold day, any one had similar experences?
-
I've only had problems on cool days with a Kawasaki I had and it was down to carb icing.
Never had it or heard of it on an air cooled Honda.

This is the DOHC nighthawk, oil/air cooled, but yes my bro' has the gpz600 with the de-icing mod, bascially a pipe from the water system thu the carbs
