I have workshop plans too, I'm going to use my total permitted development rights so roughly 7m x 5m concrete raft, 4x2 framing clad internally with 12mm osb, pitched roof. Well something like that anyway although I can't decide if I'd be better going for 8 x 4m

I am confused by your question as it's headed cam chain tension - do you mean checking the valve timing?
No tha chain, doesn't it need to be adjusted when at 15° past tdc

Thanks Trigger, that was what I'd seen on an American YouTube video but wasn't sure to trust it

I've hacmd a search to try and save you all having to repeat yourselves but I can't find the answer to how I set 15° after tdc.

Oh really, I'm happy with it for what I paid for it, do you know any more about its history? Joe seemed like a nice genuine guy.

Hopefully he still does Ken, I messaged Charlie to see if he remembered what the donor hub was from because the part number no longer exists.

Hard to find a good used wheel and once you clean off the surface rust you may find it is cracked. A common problem on old bikes
I've been told as much but so far I've not found anywhere that will reline it

The brake lining on my 550f is cracked, I've looked at getting it relined but I think a good used wheel or hub may be a more straightforward option if I relaced it to my rim.
