Did anybody watch Elvis on wheeler dealers monday night with a home chroming kit?
Didnt see enough to get it properly but on record so will watch again

I think there is a kit that uses a Nickel/Cobalt alloy to replicate chrome plating. As such, if you can do zinc  or nickel plating at home, then you could use this....

I tried the 'copy' chrome  (i.e  cobalt-nickel) once ... before the 2013 floods flushed all of the chemicals away at work  :(. It wasn't bad but nothing like proper chrome. For what Prestige charge for small parts I won't bother again with it and it would be impractical for large parts.
