Title: CB400F inlet O rings
Post by: rustywheels on May 06, 2020, 02:50:12 PM
QQ - and I have had a search but couldn't find the answer.  Does anyone have the dimensions for the inlet O rings?  I see Mr Silver sells them, but a little expensive, but if I have to, I have to...

Alternatively, anyone know of another source for them?

I sell them on my ebay page but PM me and I can give you a tiny bit of discount if not buying through Fleabay.

You can take the honda part number and google that.
27mm x 2,4mm is the outcome it seems.

Yep, I only sell Honda CB SOHC/4 parts on it and recently what with lockdown I have been sooooo busy, its been manic. I'm not in competition with David Silver or CMSNL but I sell some of the regularly used items for our bikes a lot cheaper than both of them. I also sell parts they don't. More importantly, everything I sell is tried and tested and used by ourselves so we know they work and fit and are of a good quality. I don't do it to get rich, I do it just to give enthusiasts another option.
Steve D has asked me a few times if I want to advertise on here but, I don't want anyone on here to feel obliged to buy from me via ebay.

Sorry for hijacking your thread rustywheels 🙁🙁🙁

Hey no worries on the hijack, and DM sent!  I am following you on  the 'bay, but hadn't spotted the 400 O rings, just the 550s for some reason.

Thanks everyone for your responses  :)

No I don't Mike... Look on the Bay of Fleas, a bag of 5 universal ones won't cost much.

Cheers Julie, I found one for 2 quid.  I was searching for a 400four one but a universal one will be ok.

Hi Julie. I think it would be a great idea if you advertise on the forum. That's how I found Piki and I wouldn't use anyone else for decals now.
The advantage of you advertising here is we can then see all the items you have for sale. I didn't know you sold the oil pump o-rings until we had a chat at Crich last year. I would rather buy from you, ebay is a minefield!
