Not familiar with pricing /rarity/authenticity of this special ... but auctioned not too far from me and seemed a decent buy. Prices at this auction room seem to be a lot less than Mathewsons achieve.

That’s got to be cheap!
-
It will need valve guides as its an F2
-
That does appear to be on the cheap side.
The Laverda RGA was also cheap considering it has history and bills for a full engine rebuild by Slaters.

what did it sell for?

what did it sell for?
Hammer price was £4,600 for Honda Britain

That looks great value, perhaps coming soon to an ebay listing near you at a much higher price..........
That said it's done one mile since 2006 (probably a push mile), and nowhere does it say it actually runs, or even turns over. "a rare machine that will require recommissioning" could cover a multitude of sins. There was also a ridiculously cheap DBD34 Gold Star (sold for £5,500), that was taken off the road years ago with 'engine issues'. I don't suppose you can take them apart for a look inside until you've actually bought it. As with almost all barn finds, before you can restore anything you first have to find and fix the issue that was beyond the capabilities of the previous owner when they took it off the road years ago. Been there, done that.
If only I had more garage space, though, something like one of these could be an excellent next project.
