CB750 / Re: K7 headlight brackets« on: April 24, 2020, 07:23:19 PM »
Thanks for that
The bike is a us bike but I would like to Britify it as much as is feasible. Like eventually have the lights on a switch , and twin disc, but right now it’s getting everything working. As for the headlight brackets I like the uk spec ones, ready for when I get the indicators. Cheers trig for the info and part no’s. S 18

The grey wire I hadn’t even got that far but it will save me asking later the black and red comes out of the loom . When I got the bike a couple of months ago the prior owner said if you tried to start it , it blew a fuse and so he bypassed the regulator. I changed the regulator and can only assume it was done at time of bypass. I know very little on wiring other than changing like for like and checking colours. When I turn ignition on the front light comes on but no back lights, could this be related? Cheers Steve 20

A woman arrived at a party and while scanning the guests saw an attractive man standing alone.
She approached him smiled and said hi my name is carmen. He said that is a pretty name is it a family name? No she said as a matter of fact I gave it to myself, it represents the things I most enjoy which are cars and men. Therefor I chose carmen What’s your name she said. He replied BJ Titsengolf 26

My thoughts are going out to all those married men who’ve spent months even years telling their wives “I’ll do that when I have time”

Husband takes his wife to a disco. There’s a guy on the dance floor breakdancing, moonwalking, backflips the works.
The wife turns to her husband and says”. See that guy ? 25 years ago he proposed to me and I turned him down. Husband says “Looks like he’s still celebrating” 30
Project Board / Re: What do I use to clean the engine to make it look new« on: April 19, 2020, 10:34:12 PM »
i had a feeling that may be the response imy plans for the bike are to get it running properly to a good roadworthy standard and then remove the engine and do a full rebuild.
as it is a bit rattley when i got it running first. so i will leave it as is for now and then do as you suggest, so i will concentrate on the wiring and rewelding the centre stand mounting brackets. when it comes to it and its stripped down, are those ultrasonic parts washers any good at the job? thanks steve |
