Hi Ted I think the clue to why you got problems is in the name of the boiler unfortunately, We went for a Vassmaan back in 2019 and its run like a dream ever since and their was only a little difference in the price. Hopefully your get it fixed very soon and be toasty warm . Gromitdog

Hi Ted
I also spoken to Ken since Spamgate and I am of the same opinion that he did not honestly know he was causing a spamming issue on the forum, He as given a lot of help and advice which sadly has gone as I can't see him coming back on ( If he's every allowed to ) and he certainly won't be posting as much as he has done in the past years Its a great lost to the forum, I have had the pleasure of meeting Ken and you couldn't ask for a better friend to help you out He kindly did my carbs overhaul for me and then came over and kindly set them up for me what a gent and true friend. I am proud to put what I have to support him over this Spamgate issue But this is only one of the issues here as we all know ?? Also the forum has lost a good source of parts 2nd hand and small runs that he financed all out of his own pocket and where sold at cost price + p&p.
Its a very sad day that we come to this point on the forum and it looks as if its not going to get sorted either The forum will not be the same going forward from here on . I glad that I taken the time to stand up along with the others ( you know who you are 🤗 ) in support of Ken its a shame the others won't do the same who he has helped over the years & show their support........

Hi Alex
I Have used Philpots for my front fork overhaul I had them do the whole thing as my sliders where under sized at 34.1 mm and they rebuilt them back up to 35.0mm and if you strip them down & drain the oil and clean all the oil off the parts & take the seals out then speak to the manager you should get a better price, Plus put the top cap bolts in and they will chrome them too as part of the deal. They will send you a email with the collection details print off the shipping details a courier will collect next day and when done will send them back next day delivery
Pete is the guy for the clocks he done a great job on mine I had to send one back as it was jumpy np came back perfect
Hope this helps you

Good Afternoon
I am asking if any one is breaking a set of carbs for a Honda CB500 627Bs, I am looking for a set of 4 main jets size 100 and a set of 4 idle jets size 40. I been told that you can get new jets from a company in Canada but they are not as good as they could be, So I am looking for anyone who is breaking a set of carbs or has a spare set of Honda original jets I could purchase. Muttley's carbs unfortunately have been well messed with over the years with incorrect parts and washers etc missing or wrongly fitted this will account for the difficulty in starting and top end as the carbs have had smaller jets fitted for some reason both mains and idle.
If anyone can help me out I would be most grateful for any help

I like to recommend this company which I found on Ebay Vince supplies workshop tooling for Honda CB 550 & CB750 and other in the Honda range, He also supplies a very large range of other tools for other bikes both modern and vintage If you can't see what you want contact him and he is very helpful my order was shipped via next day service the tooling is of high quality no cheap Chinese stuff. If you deal with him directly it may work out cheaper and quicker for you. The website and ebay links are below. Website https://gbmotorcycleproducts.com/ the discount code GBMOTO10 will give a 10% discount. Ebay shop https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/gbmotorcycleproducts
