If yo meanthe pivot in the frame that the pedal fits on yes it knocks out after swing arm removed.
Personally i only think tapers are worth it if you want the last ounce of performance and handling, tapers can be a pain to fit right and are a real bugger to get the outer races out again! You can get ball races where the balls are in a cage so easier to fit, i think i have seen them on motorcycle products site, yes thats the second time i have mentioned them today and no i dont get anything fo it!

In that case it should have the clutch switch and brake light switch which are the same except wire colours and only you will see them, if you have problems locating them try the 125 single with drum brake

Is this not a drum braked 360 or am i remembering wrong(getting more common!) If so it would be a us import and probably have the switch etc.
Easy to tell, look if there is a hole in the flat part close to where the lever pivots, if it is a drum there will be similar on brake side

All except the swing arm bushes need to come off, the bushes may or may not be damaged by the heat of stove enameling but they are a swine to push out and in

Only reason i can think of it not to work is if the plastic was"de natured" by uv light(cant think of another waybto say that)

I had a "knack" for removing without damage Ash, it was nearly a daily thing in the workshop

Brown wire goes to the small bulb in headlight in uk which is not fitted in us, unfortunately it is a requirement to have an "obgliatory" light in uk and would fail mot if not there plus if you got a knowlegable plod( both words in one sentence) it could be an offence.
Depending on light size there are plenty of units out there.

Green and red may be neutral switch to idiot light wire

This is just a guess but the two at the front could go to the switch on the clutch lever so it will start in gear if you pull the clutch, not sure about the single one that looks to be same colour.
Have you got a wiring diagram?

Only thing to add to that is that in design they take into effect that a ball bearing hates sideways load and will fail quickly if this is applied unless specificaly designed for this with different, expensive, races

I have been known to do similar but at least using stainless, the part number may give you an idea of length, not sure.

On cmsnl it gives 90044377000 as the part number and says 6x47, looking at parts diagrams tells you a lot if you search before asking!
