My bike isn't recharging the battery, is the rectifier or alternator the most likely culprit?

I think you can add regulator into the mix as well.
I would start by checking all the plug in connectors especially anything you might have disturbed recently such as if you have had the engine right side engine cover off to check the rear sprocket or similar.
The wires where they come out of the alternator housing and pass eventually to the connector plug.
I assume the battery is good.
I personally would then check the voltage output at the regulator - instructions are in most manuals.
After that someone here will know about the remainder - in my brief experience it can be something simple.

What Ted said. Most times it's either a broken wire, a trapped wire or corrosion on the connectors, especially the block connectors under the l/h panel.
Reports of the wires going into the stator coil breaking off recently, check the above first, if no joy then remove the generator and check all connections inside that cover.

95% of time bad connectors, 4% of time broken wire rest bad parts
