Hi, after a full rebuid of my CB750 and having run it in, I would now like to check the torque on the cylinder head nuts. Can this be done with engine in frame, that is can the cam cover be removed in frame and all 16-nuts accessed. Got a feeling it can't be done. Grateful for advise from those that know.

Unfortunately it's an engine out job which is why people never bother. Why do you think they need checking? , if the engine was built correctly they won't need doing.

Hi Julie, thanks for the advice, thought that is the case, saves me trying. I'm old school.

When I did my engines, I torqued then left overnight before fitting cam towers/cover and rechecked.
Not as good as running then rechecking, but I did notice slight movement.
