Have you tried 4into1.com? I got some cables from them last year, good service.

Ok, so next question is, what else will I need?
Throttle cables?
Clutch cable?
I assume speedo and tacho cables will be ok?
You'll definitely need the longer clutch cable. I got one from 4into1.com. You might be lucky with the throttle cables. Speedo and tacho don't move, so they are fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got 'US' style bars on mine. I was in the same situation, couldn't find originals in a decent condition and price.
In the end, because I wasn't fussy about originality, I found the measurements of the originals and bought some from M&P. I think there was 1/2 inch difference.
If you like I can dig out the old invoice and find out exactly what they were?

I salute you sir. Buying a motorbike whilst on holiday, that's brave.
My wife will kill me if I get another, and I'm still at home!

If I have half the experience that you guys have when I retire, I'll be a fortunate man.
At only 36, I'm probably only half way to retirement unless I win the lottery. I stayed on in college not really having an idea of what I wanted to do, took a part time job in a pharmacy as the 'Saturday boy' whilst trying to decide, and found myself enjoying the work there. Trained as a pharmacy technician and found myself in a training roll for a company that took me around Kent and East Sussex. The company was bought out by Boots (hate them) and I stayed on for a year before working in the NHS.
Still in the Pharmacy Dept., but started to work at a ward level speaking with patients, doctors, nursing staff etc. about medication, prescribing, etc and eventually managed the team of people that did it. After a few years switched to mainly dispensary management and now manage two pharmacy dispensaries across two hospitals.
Not sure of the next big step/move yet. Kids are young, the job is local, and it pays the bills so for the moment it suits.

Welcome. Not far from Kent down in sunny Hastings.
Did you get the original American title? That helps a lot when registering the bike with DVLA. If no, then you'll need a dating certificate from a club like VJMC.
Once you have one of those, and a MOT you can start the registering process.

I managed to fit an OEM on a David Silver copy. I used WD40 I think, but heated the rubber protector first in hot water. Let it soak for about 5mins. It was fiddly, but did go on with no issues and has been there for 18months with no splits.

I have also been there to pick up some parts and I ended up inside the store looking directly in the shelves for parts !!
They were very helpfull , welcoming and also good to deal with directly !!
Next week I will be there again picking up some parts !!
I ended up in the stores once looking for a part for trigger. And agree, nice guys. When I bought my CL350 they sold it as having a 'solid exhaust'. Not sure if someone forgot their glasses that day but both mufflers had holes you could put a fist through. After a phone call and some photos, they agreed to pay for the repair to make them good. Fell into three figures in the end. Decent guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
