Title: Rocker cover gasket..

I'm soon to lift the rocker cover on my CB400F2 for polishing and have purchased a new gasket/packing for it ahead of that. I see it is of the rubber tube type that will fit into a groove. Do I need any sealant for this item. I have Loctite Flange sealant MR5922 handy.

No sealant necessary, just the lightest smear of red rubber grease around the rubber gasket.

Thank Julie ...just ordered some 'red rubber grease'!  ;)
