Sean Dewis, he's done some work for us in the past. Tank and panels in a candy colour was about £600 IIRC.
Edit... £650 was for a 750 candy tank and side panels and a 500 solid colour tank and panels. No prep was needed on either. 4

There is a chap called Tony who we have used for bike deliveries and engine pick up and returns on many occasions who lives down your way. Ultra reliable and very reasonable prices. I'll find his number in a bit and let you know.
Gosh, found it on my phone quicker than anticipated 😂😂😂. 07765 665988 5

Welcome to the forum. Who advise you they need changing? On the invoices does it show if the rubbers were changed when rebuilt 8,000 miles ago?.
As Bryan says, check before contemplating doing a complete engine strip. 6

Yes, buyer protection fee is already covered for business sellers.
I'm ready to jump over to business seller status but I'm waiting to be pushed 😁😁😁. To be honest Al, I'm sure your customer base is similar to mine with very genuine buyers and a lot of repeat business and we both offer outstanding support and backup, more so than many business sellers so our buyers on Ebay already get a high level of seller protection. I'm not sure about you but at least 50% of my sales are on sales platforms other than Ebay with direct contact from FB groups, professional restorers, forum members etc. 7

It's going to be the buyer that pays the 4% +75p Al when buying from private sellers. I think it applies to all items over £10.00.It will all be shown as one final total before the buyer clicks the buy it now button. If the likes of you and me reduce our prices to take into account the new fees the buyer will pay, so the buyer pays the same price as now then yes, in effect it's us the seller that's funding the new Ebay protection fee.

It was to be implemented from tomorrow but Ebay have just announced that the 'buyer protection fee' will only be on Electronic items from tomorrow, all other categories will gradually be included (until ebay change their mind again 🙄🙄🙄)
That's just one of many changes ebay are planning, including not getting paid until delivery confirmed by tracking or feedback being left or after 14 days if no feedback or tracking confirmation . They are even taking control of posting, under the 'Simple Delivery' scheme. 9

150+ year old house, no gas in village so use oil, no quarterly standing charge for that 😁😁. Bosch Worcester boiler must be well over 30 years old, fitted by previous owner. It's a super efficient system for heating and hot water. Graham services the boiler once a year and fits a new jet. Also have 2 log burners, it's never cold in this old house.

CB500/550 / Re: Tank Trim« on: February 01, 2025, 11:35:15 PM »
I don't stock the tank trim at present. My supplier increased their prices so it wasn't viable any longer.
I'm talking to another supplier, I'll let you know the outcome next week. Is anyone else wanting the trim? 11
CB500/550 / Re: 550 YSS rear shocks« on: January 31, 2025, 09:12:01 PM »OK, slightly simpler question, cb400 or cb750 shocks on a cb550, has anyone tried it?I had to put 750 shocks on my 550 mongrel as with the 550 ones, the inner mudguard was hitting the tyre if that answers your question, the 400 shocks are the same length as 500/550🤔🤔 12

Hi Sally.
It may be better if you join the Honda Nighthawk Group on Facebook as that group will be more of more relevance to you than this forum. https://www.facebook.com/groups/23563069622/?ref=share 15
