Those are the needle guides and needles. As long as the needles and the guides are all the same, it won't affect the running. The top one doesn't look the same as the others.

I think it's a poor show the seller won't take it back, it would cost you about £4.00 to return it, so that's your loss but the seller wouldn't loose any money by taking it back into stock and refunding you. Ok, they are not obliged to refund as it is as described but we all make mistakes.

No, I didn't know that off the top of my head 😂😂😂but I found his sold listing on Ebay and he did put the part number. 40510-KC2-890.
You need 40510-377-000. A majority of 400/4 parts are 377 middle part number, so I'm not sure what parts list you are looking at as 40510 has nothing to do with 400's, it just means it's a guard of some description, it could be any guard. Edit, I've sussed it now, you took 40510 as the correct part number, unfortunately it's not.

Looks like I may be replacing the cables as well. Do we know a place that can make up new cables.
Graham mades his own by unsoldering the attachments on the knackered ones and re soldering them on a new length of cable.

My Sister sent me a video of her house in East Sussex yesterday, torrential rain and hailstones, lots of flooding, her garden was under water.

The strainers are £22 plus postage from DS - they were not listed when I cleaned mine probably a couple of years ago.
No, I haven't answered the question about the seals as I can't remember ☺️☺️. I also have the strainers in stock if yours doesn't clean up OK or is knackered. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Yes, the strainer mesh is detachable and as you say the mesh has a plastic edge around it. It just pulls off of the funnel.

That unit may not fit in the 550F2 as they have a shallow headlamp bowl as all the wire junctions go back to a box under the tank instead of joining in the headlight, so it'll all be down to the depth of the LED unit.

Looks lovely John. We're out pottering tomorrow around the Wolds on the CD250u's, we've been using the other bikes a lot recently, so it'll be nice to have a pootle around on them for a change.

This what a google search reveals for an auction price rather than a Classified listing.
The fee for adding a reserve price to an eBay auction listing for a motorcycle is 4% of the reserve price, up to a maximum of £150 per item. This fee is charged regardless of whether the item sells.
So going the classified advert route that Julie shows would there be a listing fee plus final value fee to pay?
No, a classified listing fee of £20 is the total amount of charges regardless of whether the bike sells or not and the listing lasts 30 days. If the bike doesn't sell in those 30 days, you've lost £20.00.

For vehicles, ebay Classified is £20 regardless of the sale price. Fixed price listings cost £14.99 plus a final value fee of £25 or 1% of the sale price, capped at £45.00
