DS claims TSK are the oem supplier to Honda and the ones i have had have always fitted, i am sure the genuine spare had the modle number on the cable but tsk would not be allowed to do that

Is this an old CJ250T?  If so they never had the ump th pull the skin off a rice pudding if it was already detached plus no electric start and cam/head troubles when the owners didnt know to remove clutch case to clean centrifugal filter!

I work to Honda, every 1500 miles or once a year whicher comes first
Honda say filter every other change but i do it every change.

The size of sump and mineral or synthetic dont matter a stuff, its the gearbox and rich carbs wreck the oil!

Have you priced a rebore recently, the last four sets of 500 i did did not clean at 0.25 as the bores were "barelled" had to go to 0.5

Its a shouldered bolt so that when the nut is done up tight it can still allow the torsion arm to pivot.
You could probably get away with a collar of the right dimensions and a nylock nut
