I am in the process of respraying the tank and panels of my 400 and noticed on the decals I have from David Silver that there is a spelling mistake on the safety decal that sits in front of the petrol tank filler cap. It says 'Think saftey' rather than safety.
My question is whether this is a mistake on the part of whoever made the repo decals or if it is an intentional copy of an original Honda mistake.
Just curious :)

Thanks for that Steven. I wasn't going to put the decal on anyway. I even Googled it to see if the American spelling was different :D

Did you inform Silvers of the mistake? They sent me 2 left side panels by mistake and when I rang them they sent me a right one out straight away.

The decals came in a big box of bits that came with the bike when I bought it. They must be over 5 years old, knowing the history of the bike.
Everything that I have purchased from DS in the last 5 months since getting the bike has been spot on.
I know the old decals came from DS because their name is on the wrapper - must have been a bad batch eh?

Still let them know, be honest and say they were with the bike when you got it and they might give you a credit for something.
Dave always wanted to know if something was wrong with anything as he said his reputation depended on it being right

Thanks for the replies. I will give them a call.
