Honda Milano Red is a good match. You can get it in an aerosol or a body shop should be able to supply.

I'm around half an hour from junction 15. You could then take the A14 to rejoin M1 at Rugby which takes around 25 minutes. My son will be home in the morning and I'll be there in the afternoon until half two.

I also have a spare tank that can go. It has a rattle can spray and has been patched with tank filler in a few places around the bottom seam but is usable. No filler cap or tap. Open to offers, not looking to make a lot off it.

The code on the shell is HM-26M-S.

I should let the auction run now that it is listed, but I'll gladly split the parts if they don't sell and you can have first refusal Woodside.

This is a short Manx Norton replica from Unity Equipe. I had to make up some brackets for it but it does come with bolts built into it. I haven't used the rear mudguard but the bridge piece is still there under the hump.

I ran a braided hose from the m/c to the solid brake line that's connected to the front calliper. It's M10x1.25. If you need any advice try Hel Performance, they were able to answer all my questions and I had a hose delivered the next day.

Just a quick update for anyone considering buying a custom brake hose.

The thread size of the bottom hose/caliper pipe connections is M10x1.25 and is the standard thread  used by Honda on the CB (400 and 750) during the 1970s.

I would also recommend the services of HEL Performance for their advice and fast turn around. My hose arrived less than 24 hours after ordering online.

That is an option but I'd like to maintain at least some originality. I think it would look better with the steel pipe too.

The reason for wanting to delete the original brake light switch is to make room to move the headlight back and down a bit. Sorry to any purists who read this :-)

Thanks Bryan
I was thinking of ordering a hose from HEL. It will go straight from a Suzuki (!) master cylinder to the solid pipe that comes off the caliper, and delete the brake switch on the bottom yoke. Any advice gratefully received.

CB350/400 / Front brake pipe thread

Can anyone please confirm what the thread is on the solid front brake pipe male connection - where the bottom hose connects to the solid pipe at the caliper.

I think it is M10x1 but would like confirmation before I order a custom hose.

Thanks in advance
