Will have a hunt about.

Thats my exact problem, the inner cable  length is too long.

The ones that I bought are from wemoto.

Would the cables from a cb500k0 73' fit they are in stock at Silvers?

Could anyone tell me a source to get correct cables for my project that don't cost the earth. Cmsnl want £33 for pull and £28 for a pull cable. Silvers only has a pull cable in stock and I've just bought a set on Ebay listed for a 550 and they are incorrect.

Any info would be great.

I'm in the UK.

Ahh ok, do they go over the frame brace and down next to the battery and airbox?

I'm at the final bit of getting my cb550 started for the first time since 1984! The carbs will be going on next week but I'm short of the air vent pipes. I will make some up myself but can anyone tell me how long they should be and where they route please?

Cheers

Managed to sort it out this morning. The black red wire on my brand new OEM r/h switchgear needed to be wired into the brown white on the loom!! Looking at my old switchgear, it didn't have the black red only a brown white so I tried it and it all works.

Cheers

I'm looking for a set of 4 into 4 exhausts for my 75' 550. I've hunted around for a good secondhand set but they are rare. So I'm looking to buy  replica set from Dave Silvers or Cmsnl. Silvers are showing out of stock but Cmsnl show in stock, are they the same builder/supplier? Does anyone have any feedback on quality? At £1000 a set they are not cheap so I expect them to be decent.

Any feedback would be great.

Hi Ibby4585

I can source 15A 8A & 5A Glass fuses (30mm L x 6.4mm Dia,) fairly cheaply but have yet to be able to find a source of 8A ones Try looking on the M&P motorcycle website will give you a idea of cost I have a trade account with them if that helps you

Nigel

 Cheers Nigel.

Will have a look around.
