It's not showing imported on the V5C, it is showing it was registered in the UK in 1972.
Does the frame number mean it was never ment for the UK? Cheers for any help

Hi Bryan, they are off a CB550 k3, unfortunately they are being sold with a CB550 k3 project bike I am selling, trying to sell some stuff off I have collected over the years.

Hi, not been on here for some time, I think I have a 500K0 or parts of one, frame number 1030582 can anyone confirm that?
Think I have confirmed it myself registered new 01/06/1972 in the UK to the first owner. I am the second owner,
Originally used this to transfer my 550k0 1974 to make it tax free before the Government restarted the rolling Tax free again. I have since swapped it back to the 1974 frame as that is Tax free since 2014, Cheers Darren

Still not sure myself that is what happened, just glad oil managed to get past the blockage as this is the 1st time since i owned it that the engine has been apart, 14 years & aprox 30,000 miles

Hi Byranj, not sure where the bits of o ring came from but both o rings where missing from the head gasket oil ways, the base gasket o rings where still there. Before i put the rocker on i made sure oil was pumping up to the cam shaft. New cam chain (soft link), 4 x second hand exhaust valves vgc, new static cam chain guide, new tensioner blade, (tensioner undamaged) new rings, honed barrels, new gasket set, new oil & filter. I used alloy wheel cleaner in the end on the head as it is so fiddly to clean. Yes i agree i will change oil as you say, thanks for your advice, all the best Daz. My bike is back on the road, at last, finished putting it back together last night & MOT done this morning, yes on a Sunday. Went for a 80 mile ride to bed the new rings in, she runs well
