Title: CB500K0 wiring harness clip position
Post by: Raymond_Y on February 18, 2020, 12:13:53 PM
Hi all, does anyone know where I might get a picture or diagram showing where the wiring harness clips fit to the frame.  I have some diagrams from the manuals that show harness route, but clip positions are not clear.  Bike is a 1971 CB500K0 that I have rebuilt, having bought it as several boxes of bits. (Imported from US and UK registered in 97)

Many thanks

Raymond

I will check when i can, i kow there are two flat clips joined more or less above the carbs and a hooked clip under a tank mount

There are 6 clips:
Most of mine are undisturbed. But the first two have been removed and replaced.
One on the front LHS front down tube.
One on the spine under the tank. Made of two clips joined.
Two on the left and right under the front of the seat.
One on the RHS to hold the rear brake/pts wiring.
One on the LHS near the upper rear side panel mounting.
