I have a high maintenance lady. She requires expensive, shiny items, and often causes me great frustration. Then makes it all worth it by being immense fun. She is a 1976 CB400/four, in blue. Bought of a bloke in London who lavished great care on her, I got her as my first big bike after passing my test.
I also have a CG125, and two BSA bantams, one of which I'm restoring as a mini cafe racer. I live near Matlock in Derbyshire. Ayup all.
Oh, forgot to say-I'm also on the classicbikeforum site, same name. I'll post a link to here, for fellow SOHC4 sufferers Smiley

Welcome to the forum.
There's a few CB400 owners on here who'll no doubt recognise your symptoms.
Great bike. Post some pics.

Well, I tried posting a picture but apparently the attachment thingy is full.
Today I got some front wheel bearings and a taper roller bearing steering kit. These will be fitted when I can be arsed. I've only just got her back on the road after replacing a fork stanchion (and at the same time painting the legs and unseizing the brake arm pivot).
Here might be a picture off flickr...maybe...

Ha ha, yeah. It's my Dads. I can't drive yet, and doing my test wouldn't be much help cos insurance is crippling.
