Looks like he is selling a nice ''virtual'' Z650 too >:(

Oh and hundreds of other vehicles too!! Good old eBay keeping track of their fraudulent sellers, not.

When I was looking for a Chrysler 300 CRD Estate I found a really nice one on E-bay that a bloke was selling - he claimed to be away working on an Oil Rig. He said the car was in Scotland in the firms secure car park & would be delivered to the buyer who could inspect it before paying by bank transfer! If the buyer was not 100% happy he would do a full refund or a partial refund if there were any issues & the buyer wanted to keep it. The VRM displayed in the advert matched the Make & Model but when I checked the Mot history the vehicle had not only lost some mileage but was a different colour!
The add was kicked off by E-Bay then re-appeared on pre-loved within days! I guess the con must work as it's so prevelant.
If it sounds too good to be true ..................

Often all they are after is a holding deposit, if you are desperate to buy you send £500 holding deposit and bang he has made a quick buck.

Ive reported dozens of these adverts E bay take them off and they reappear a few weeks later So I've now stopped reporting, E Bay don't seem bothered

Me too! - You can spot them straight away as they normally have an odd sale price like for example £3461 - maybe they convert from a 'round figure' in a foriegn currency?
