They mention VASCAR speed enforcement in the article ....... that was an acronym I had forgotten about.
JGC 606N is still in existence in bits but the owner also has another mega-rare iconic Honda and they, sadly, have both been in bits for 30 years 'ish. It was a Euro model (note indicators)

In 1986 Honda slashed their exhaust prices for some reason, so the full 400/4 system was almost exactly 100 GBP, which is what I paid.

In May '79, 500/4 exhausts were £37.79 each:

323 exhaust's were £79 + vat from DSS in 2004 :'(

8 hours labour £36 I could have done with that when my last van exploded twice in one year. >:(

My room mate at Uni blew up his G5 and borrowed my 500/4 while I was in Derby with my girlfriend (currently married for 34 years...)
It was raining and he couldn't stop when some guy pulled out in front of him.

'Poor boy's muscle bike' eh? Mine's required a middle-aged bloke's budget, cost me a bloody fortune and I'm still not yet on-the-road with it!
