oddjob I have another mudguard but it has a non standard blade grafted on to the original brace, it looks the same at first glance but will measure. Lester it has the two stays but even they don't seem to fit properly, and I need some of those plastic spacers that fit between the stays and mudguard.

those push in slow jets get stuck firmly and looks like someone has bent them trying to remove them. New ones are available from sirrius

Prices will vary with supply and demand, I cant see why Honda don't remake things like this, there would be a strong demand for them. You cant blame people for wanting the best price for stuff, at the end of the day its only worth what someone will pay.
