Hello Menno. Would it be possible for you to mix a batch of paint for my sprayer to use? I know what you say about putting on too much candy. I suppose the best thing would be to find a genuine Honda part with original paint to use as a reference point. Was the Candy Blue Green used on the early CD175A Solper? It looks very similar. Sean.

After talking with my painter, who only paints bikes. There appears that the water based paint from RS can be problematic. So I'm still looking for Candy Blue Green in good old 2 pack solvent based paint. Sean.

Hello. I really quite fancy spraying my K1 in the Candy Blue Green of the K0. Does anyone have a RAL code. For this colour? Sean.

Good tip about LPM. Bought a pair of panels this lunch time. The received a text 2 hours later. Saying my panels are in the post! If their parts are as good as their service. I'll be well pleased. Sean.

Thank you for your speedy response. I was thinking of going the Dremel route. But the IPM panels are so inexpensive especially as they are superior to the originals. I'd be a fool not to use IPM. You guys are going to make this project Sooo much easier. Thanks again. Sean.

Hello. I see there are a few suppliers of pattern replica side panels. Does anyone know which are the best? My bike is a 750K1. It has a good pair of original panels. But some Buffoon has filled the badge recess with filler & sprayed over them. Sean.

Hello Lav. I used to quite fancy a Jota but the unpredictable handling & insurance put me off. But I loved the Guzzi cafe racers the Germans came the the TT on in the 70's Of late I have taken a fancy to small classic Dukes & Motobi's I'm afraid I have lost all interest in modern bikes & those who ride them. Sean.

Hello guys. Thank you for your very warm welcome. In response. Italian bikes... I have a very low pain threshold. Not Dead only resting. I try to get to Lytham Bike nights when I can. But working away form home make mid-week riding difficult. Re, CB175's got to be the second best engine Honda ever made. So much fun & reliability from something so simple. But the best motorcycle engine ever has to be Vfr750f Has anyone heard of one failing. I certainly haven't. Sean.

Hello Chaps. I have stumbled upon Carppy's cafe racer website where he lists several items of interest. Has anyone used his stuff? If so. Is his stuff any good. As I'm probably going to need headlight shell & standard brackets. Amongst other bit & bobs. Your insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sean.

Hello Chaps. I have just returned to Cb750 ownership after many years absence. I previously owned 2 F1's which I heavily modified. But now I am hoping to right the wrongs of the past. Where I intend to restore a Chopped CB750K1 back to the bike it deserves to be. What I am aiming for is a cosmetically tweaked bike using only period parts. Particularly a original Marvin 4into1 exhaust & two/four seat etc. So though not standard it will be a authentically period bike. So would appreciate any help info & advise offered by you guys. I live in Garstang Lancashire. With a long history of attending bike rallies TT & MGP. My other current bikes are.. 1967 CD175A SLOPER. 1971 Yamaha Yas1 1971 Suzuki T250 1971 Suzuki T500 1972 CB175K6 (Gold) 1973 CB175K6 (blue) 1975 Xl250 motorsport 1977 RD400D 1988 Yamaha Tdr250 1990 Kawasaki Ke100 2002 Suzuki Drz400E Anyway its nice to be aboard. Regards. Sean.
