Hello All,
Just working through the electrics on my unregistered US CB750 K4. I see there is no front sidelight switch position on the right switch but weirdly park light on 2nd ignition switch position.
Will I need a front sidelight to obtain DVLA registration? If so how is this wired with US switches?
Many thanks for any info.
Kevin

DVLA have no interest in what's working and what's not for registering a USA bike in UK. As you don't need an MOT now either to register it with DVLA, that side of it isn't a problem either, not that it ever was with US spec bikes anyway.

Fit a UK switch and there is a "spare" brown" wire in the shell that connects to the sidelight in the UK reflector

Thank you Julie and Bryan for your replies.
The switches are both working fine so as long as I am not going to fail any pre registration inspection I will leave it in the US spec. Simples😄
Cheers

You are not going to fail any mot as it doesnt need one BUT if you find the only clued up Plod about it will not conform to construction and use regs which is an offence.

I think the only plod that knew the C&U regs has retired Bryan 😁😁😁

My CB750 (U.S. Spec) only has main and dipped beam. It was U.K. registered with this configuration and has passed an M.O.T. every year since without comment.

The MOT man has not read his manual properly (or he likes you/ old Hondas), believe it or not the sidelight is mandatory and the headlight optional BUT if fitted must work and dip.

I like my US spec headlight switch it has left me in the dark more then once when trying to dip.

Perhaps I've just been fortunate, although three separate testing stations have performed seven tests over the years that I've known the bike.
