Title: Help with cb550 yokes
Post by: harris24982 on December 06, 2015, 12:25:17 PM
Hi

I recently picked up a 1976 cb550 project and am having trouble finding a set of yokes to fit, was wondering if anyone knows of any other makes and models that the yokes would fit from?

don't mind If the forks are a different size as the bike is a custom and would like to run a drum brake anyway

thanks

About the only drum brake that would fit without  a lot of machining would be the CL450 1970-73 and the only place you will get those bits is the USA

thanks for that, think i'll give the cl450 wheel a miss bit pricey to bring over

i'll give the cb250 a try think I might have one somewhere

can anybody tell me the length of the stem on the original yokes? I belive I've found the width online as 26 upper and 30 lower but can find a length mentioned anywhere
