Title: Lower headstock bearing height
Post by: JustcallmeMrT on December 07, 2015, 05:53:09 PM
Hi all, I'm nearing the final reassembly of my project (1977 CB550F2) and am replacing the headstock bearings with a set of all balls roller bearings.  I need to know how tall the original bearings are to figure out which spacer washer to use, but threw out the old bearing ages ago.  Anybody have a measurement of the original bearing, or know which washer works best from the all balls kit?  Thanks!

I watched a video on YouTube other day .on fitting same set on 750 he used the smaller spacer .he did use the bigger one first but there wasn't enough threads left to fit steering stem nut .
