Hi 400f2 full engine rebuild + electronic ignition +iridium plugs. starting from cold no4 cylinder reluctant to fire up till i pull cap off plug a few mill then it will fire up thanks John

Possibly a dodgy plug cap, always start with the easiest option, buy a new one and try it. Cut a half inch or so from the end of the h.t. cable before fitting a new cap.

Hi  thanks for reply allready try ed swapping plug caps and trimming ht lead forgot to mention that it's a bike from d silvers  John

Have you tried swapping plugs? Could be something dodgy with the internal connections.
If it's a recent one of the DS rebuilds I suppose it could be worth seeing if they have an opinion,
although probably easier to eliminate what you can first.
