Title: crank cases
Post by: kew on December 26, 2016, 12:49:59 PM
HELP
I have a lot of old spares and decided that over the holiday I would sort them out.
I have a couple of sets of cases and don't know if they are matched pairs, how can I tell? :-[ :-[ :-[

Should have a letter and two or three numbers stamped on the flat part on the rear.

Thanks for the reply trigger.
I've just been down to the garage and none of my cases have any numbers on the back end.
Honda are obviously out to confuse me.

Must be a late engine. What is the number ? And any pictures would be a advantage.

I have sorted the problem, I fitted the mains as per the stamping on the top case and fitted the crank.
I then bolted in one bottom case and then the other, one turned and one didn't, problem solved. ;D 8)
