I had the same seat from DSS, I cut about 7mm off leaving about 6mm of rear rubber block and it's now latches well and looks right.

Try bellengineering.co.uk they do new pumps, I have never used them but they are freelander specialists, I have a Freelander 2 myself, so I would be interested to see how you get on.

Andy
Do post your progress on your CB900 project, as I have a CB750FA which I have had for 30 years and I am am about to start looking at getting back on the road in the next few weeks, if you haven't already done so take a look at the cb750c.com forum loads of stuff on there about our bikes, and I have got a set 900 carbs if you need them. 5

Great to meet you all, and it's good to see these old bikes being used as they were intended, 492 miles is a good run out, That's more than I've done all year on my 400. Note to self I must get out more.

Superb job, that's spurred me to finish mine, I have also been using LED's and they are bright, I have tried several types but not found the perfect one yet, if you find any would you let us know.

Thanks for the pictures Graham and for all the comments, I think the rivets look the same flush with the surface, so I will clean and put it back in.

Has someone got a picture of the inside of the clutch outer, so I can see what the rivets should look like.

CB350/400 / clutch help« on: May 16, 2019, 03:29:15 PM »
Hi,
Looking at the clutch on my 400 today, theirs the usual play between the gear and basket which I am not bothered about, but what worries me is the basket has scoring/grinding marks near the rivets on the inside, there not deep only just detectable by finger nail, should I be worried, has someone opened it. I've tapped the rivets and their not moving. hopefully the photos show it.
