Just looked on what Oddjob sent the link for and it was Not clear...... is it 10 for £12.95 or for One ?  :-[

Must be a walking bank I think ha  ;D

Hi everyone

well sorry about the confusion, what I meant was that the course threads are on the studs NOT the Nuts.
and it is a 1967 Bomber and it has the course studs as I said so it must mean then that they are the 1.50
pitch threads Not 1.25, which is what i got so don`t fit but they did fit the rear shocks so used two anyway  ;D
but still looking for some 8 X 10 mm domes nuts then with a pitch of 1.50 ?

Cheers

Mo

do anyone know what the thread is on the cylinder head on the black bomber...... as trying to get some to replace the old rusted  steel domed Nuts with stainless steel ones ?

I got 8 domed ones and they don't fit seems as if they are a more of course thread as I tried one and it wanted to cut a new thread so must be some other thread on the studs. if it is the ones I got they only seem to do one size of thread on Ebay so if you know where I can get some would be great help.

well what can I say..... I did not want to buy the whole clock Assy  ;D
I have sorted it out now made myself one out of some old BSA foam used on the oil box, looks like the Honda one.

and yes the Bomber has the clocks all in the oval unit.

well thanks for all the comments and help as I will have to look at all what you have said.... I cant remember seeing a red wire coming out of that rectifier tho... I did see a brown and a yellow I think but the wires being that age has changed colour over the years but will check that red out, Oh I did check out the guy brenden and looked at his Video but they just said about unplug and re plug but the black Bomber dont have a plug cumming out of the rectifier just 3 wires out of the wiring harness going to the 3 round screwed terminals on the rectifier. any other help guy`s gratefully Received.

Thanks Again

Hi Guy`s

very new to the black Bomber and new to here so be gentle.

I have just got a 1967 bomber and been trying to fix as many problems as I can, one being the ign to change this out for electronic ign so went for the "Shockwave" Electronic Ignition from COMMON MOTOR COLLECTIVE as i am in the UK I have to wait for it to get here, but they say to change the rectifier as it could damage there system..... they also say to make sure the coils have  coils a minimum resistance of 3.5 ohms. but don't know how to test them to see that but they are a new set on the bike..... but the thing is I need to take out the old rectifier and don't know how to wire in the new....its this one if you can see it ?
  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314005383176

do anyone know which wire go`s where please ...... as I say I am new to here and the Black bomber so keep it easy lol

Cheers Mo
