Stop taking the pith. it’s no help to someone with a squeaky brake. Try Making some anti squeal shims for the back of the pads.

Humour / Chinese meal
« on: October 14, 2018, 05:57:10 PM »
A couple go for a meal at a Chinese restaurant and order the “Chicken Surprise”... the waiter brings the meal, served in a lidded cast iron pot.

Just as the wife is about to serve herself, the lid of the pot rises slightly and she briefly sees two beady little eyes looking around before the lid slams back down.

“Good grief, did you see that?” she asks her husband. He hadn't, so she asks him to look in the pot. He reaches for it and again the lid rises, and he sees two little eyes looking around before it slams down. Rather perturbed, he calls the waiter over, explains what is happening, and demands an explanation.

“Please sir,” says the waiter, “what you order?”

The husband replies, “Chicken Surprise”.

“Ah! So solly,” says the waiter, “I bring you Peeking Duck by mistake.

Do which every you are happy with it’s your bike, and if you get fed up with the look it’s not difficult to change it.

If you want long chain life fit a Scott oiler. But be prepared to clean the back end regularly.

Use short levers if you can’t manage with them something is wrong. Once the tyre is on push the valve with the nut on the last thread back into the tyre to ensure the tyre is seated  correctly before inflation.8

They DO have a kickstart, but it lives under the seat.

I stand corrected then, and doffs his hat to the gent in the corner.

Increased battery size and no kickstart backup.
