TBH as cleverly as the name has been constructed for the joke it is not something I would post today due to its racist connotations.

Not trying to be PC just my view.

How do we know though Ted that Tenmil isn't a real Asian name, it could be, some of our names for example sound like they are made up for a laugh, especially American names, Theodore, Buzz, Chad, imagine if they were common slang words for something obscene in India for example, you think they wouldn't be all over the Indian web? Prime example is fanny in America, completely different meaning from our version and that's people who speak the same language as us.

I watched The Dam Busters the other week, with Richard Todd, a WW2 hero I might add that was at Pegasus Bridge on D Day, I've seen that film hundreds of times, I watched it again to see if they had edited out his dogs name, it was a black dog and it's name began with N, I wanted to see if the PC brigade had been at work and beeped out the name whenever it was said, I fully expected it to happen but thankfully they appear to have just left it alone as when the dog was named it didn't have the same connotations it has today. We can't rewrite history no matter how unpleasant it might have been or how much we wish things hadn't happened. Learn from history, don't try to rewrite it.

The last time I saw it on telly it had been over dubbed using the name Digger.  Ridiculously. Unless that was just my hearing.

The last original looking copy silencer I found was in Argentina I think and was £800+shipping +duty hence why I said that looks cheap.

I did the CB400 superfour over 12months ago with the POR15 kit to stop a leak under the paint from a previous repair someone had done and it has been very successful saving having to have a full repaint.

I made do with a Pullover my Mum knitted from a pattern - no jackets needed for me back  then.
I was working at Laporte Industries in Stallingborough/Immingham area as there were developing a new process for the manufacture of Titanium Dioxide.

;D  I was referring to the OP  ;D

Possible source https://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Rubber-Channel-Edging-Trim/dp/B01N2OCLUA/ref=asc_df_B01N2OCLUA/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309954591991&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1408491796720562442&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045911&hvtargid=pla-715926403159&psc=1 as general supply.

I was searching through crash helmet rubber trim type things to find alternative.  Types like Simpson have used this around eye apeture as example.

Cheers, I have ordered some seal already now but will keep this one for future ref, If mine turns out to be no good.

Looks the same U section as the 750k but, can not find a part number for the 750F1 to compare.
I could never find a U section rubber from any manufacture when i was looking to replace a 750K one. Ended up buying a Honda one  ;)

No it's not listed as a separate item. I have found some rubber section that looks quite promising and may need a trim with a blade but I need to measure up properly as the existing bit of seal is quite swollen. The carbs have been passing over the last couple of weeks and filled the air box with fuel knackering the seal and air  filter.
