Title: Front Fork spring position

Hello, what position is the correct for the front fork spring of my 550 K3? Tight coils up or down?

Hi,
     Do not know about your machine, but my 400/4 Hagon progressive springs are closer coils down.-Ken

That makes sense Ken.

Tighter coils = stiffer spring, so you'd want the ratio to tighten up as you compress the forks (eg under heavy braking) whilst being softer for normal use.

Thank you mates,the tight spring coils was on the Top.... I have put it on the bottom now.

Ohh shit! I  notice that I forget put the O'rings on the Forks Bolts!!! Any problem with this??

Hi,
    Apart from oil mist/leakage, you will loose "static" air pressure inside the fork legs which affects damping and rebound,( some bikes have adjustable air pressure settings), put them on one at a time!-Ken

Makes sense. Less unsprung weight.
