Can't find my original post regarding this! Doh... Anyway, just a quick reminder that the classic jap day at Sammy Millers, that Steph and myself organise along with sponsorship by the VJMC, is taking place this Sat, 2nd June. I've been training guys up at work and been snowed under, so, hence the late reminder. It's been on Steph's Face book etc and other sites of course. I've posted tips in the 750 section but would be grateful if a moderator and others could pass the word around in other sections? It was great seeing whole bunch of you down guys here a couple of years ago. Is anyone going this year? I know it's a bloody long way to the New Forest though! We. Oils plan a run the next day if so? I might be selling my general export, UK spec, 1970, K1 in black. Highly polished both on engine, hubs, etc. Heated garage. Not really for Winter riding! Just for your info. The Bomber remains with me of course... Nige Barratt. Ps, won't be anywhere near that price!

Must say,
I was recently chatting about my Black Bomber ( with this Winter, that's all I seem to do! ) and others I know of to a chap in a Pub. " Black Bomber lives in a heated garage. Black Bomber Will only come out when it's dry etc" ( well, I get caught out occasionally..)
I felt I was sensing strange looks next to my table and sure enough, I was. The chaps next to me seemed er, 'interested' so I leaned across to them when my mate was getting me a jar and asked them if they were into bikes to put my mind at ease. They aren't but certainly into Cyber security of some sort! 😳 (Only happens to me!) I showed them a picture of my Black Bomber and they visibly relaxed. God, what a world we live in now...

Indeed, Just patience... Won't hold out for a UK one though, as Graham says, they are rarer than UK K0's.. A long journey to North Yorkshire may be on the cards to view one.  Love to bring a tired one back to life though! Nige.

Thanks guys. I was afraid that's the case. Thought they may be welded in place. James, I'll experiment with the ends though. Pity the American market did so much 'damage' to these bikes - (and classic cars!!) As for new 330's from Yamyia, I'd need to take a mortgage out for those  and, to be fair, it wouldn't be right for the K3.. This is why, deep down, I'd prefer a K1, both for the exhausts, head stock and Jewel lights in the tach/speedo alone. The journey continues... Nige.

Ash et all, Can 341 exhausts be modified to sound a little louder, towards the 300 signature? Trouble is, my 341's are mint.  My K3 sounds so, er.. 'polite' and too bloody quiet. Having had a K0 I know just how these 750's can sound..  Also, I believe the air box can be modified (drilling a series of holes but not allowing water to get in) to increase the intake roar? I do ride her quite hard in order to have fun (and keep up!) but only comes on sound in the very high reving range. Any mods here at all? Nige.

Most encouraging as her exhausts are perfectly hand built replicas in stainless. I'll pass on your regards if I may. I must say, the 550's really benefited from the 4 into one system. The 750 excels with those 4 pipes. (Particularly early on) Only my opinion of course...

Did anyone have a close look at that 550 F1? Just intrigued on behalf of Steph who owns a very lovely original UK 550 F2 in Blue. We're not really sure about it's value.. Not really sure about autions though...🤔

Ash, have the info you need. Vin, 302### engine, 302###. The K1 spec and number remained within the export models for a long while since '67, a little like the UK K2 until the UK K6.

I'm an early bed chappie so just read your txt, so will PM you the 450 VIN etc, before the 450 theme gets me into trouble! As much as I love them though... 👍
The hunt for the 'right' 750 continues meanwhile...🤔
