Called in to look at a 500/4 advertised on ebay at a relatively local bike shop nearby - Bill Lomas's. (Yes Guzzi v8 fame etc...)
Anyway, chatting with his son, the now owner, I was blithering on about back in the day I had one of these, bla bla - so did he etc. Said his was black, so was mine. Told him I had bought it off a chap called Haggis. It turns out the guy I was talking to had had it from new and sold it to him . He then realed off the reg etc..
Small world...
