The genuine one as the main reference and the others to fill in, but this and the US site for starters when you have a problem.

I'm with Ted, mains all the way, before the cost got prohibitive we had lights on the side of the house (2), the back of the house and by the detached garage. I changed them all to PIR LED ones, cheap as chips and reliable.
If I remember correctly they are 20W 1000 lumens and cost about £20 each from eBay. Cheers Dennis 37
CB750 / Re: Belly pan« on: January 23, 2024, 10:31:05 AM »
Had one on my Deauville, when I removed it to work on the bike everything in there was rusty, corroded or generally dirty so it went in the bin.

Never seen anything bodged up like that before, but maybe something similar on old British bikes, scary.

Anorak's Corner / Re: Tyre Changing Jigs« on: January 12, 2024, 03:55:48 PM »
After pinching a tube years ago I resorted to using my heels to put tyres on and it worked fine, dancing around the wheel, or using my hands with an old fashioned round bin as a stand.
However last year putting new tyres on my 750 I failed, the back tyre was fine but I had to take my front wheel to a bike shop I just could not do it anymore. Time catches up with us all. Cheers Dennis 43

I can only echo what others have said, fight on , you never know, they can do amazing things these days.
My big brother has not long ago had a lengthy spell of radio therapy for lung cancer, following an operation for bowel cancer and he is still pulling through. All of my bike parts and dismantled bikes ending up in a skip when I pass is one of my worries, it would be such a waste, glad to see that you are sorting that out and doing it in a very generous way. Keep on fighting Dennis 44

I got a job overseas, should have been for 3 years but I was away for ten, when we got back I could not navigate my way round locally or further afield, my mind just went blank. I could not even remember how to get to Oulton Park which I had been going to since I was 17.
Things had changed but mostly it was my memory that had changed. Cheers Dennis |
