Title: Insurance
Post by: Moorey on February 22, 2023, 03:35:01 PM

      This choosing your own gender shit is great. I just put that I was a woman on my insurance and saved £400.  ;

Wouldn't the fact they change more for men mean they are being sexist? As you say if you're transgender do you classify as a man or a woman and in the event of an accident would they refuse to pay if you said you were a woman but were born a man?

Does that mean if you suggest your non binary or whatever it is, they don’t know which and you get it for free? Who would they address it to…..?

How can anyone say they are non binary, there are only 2 chromosomes X and Y and that’s binary, are they claiming they have a third chromosome?

I had a cousin who was born with both sets of tackle, the parents had to decide what sex it was so the doctors could cut the other stuff away, imagine if they got that choice wrong.

As Ken has said if you are born with XX chromosomes you are a female if you are born with XY you are male irrespective of the appearance of your genitals.

No such thing as YY in humans - yes you might have a birth defect as a male or female giving rise to a sort of Hermaphrodite appearance due to hormone irregularities whilst in the womb or after being born.

I have read that statistically about 1 in 10,000 births can result in varying degrees of organ abnormality or birth defects leading to sexual identification issues.

My personal experience of homosexuals of both genders especially whilst on the Police Anti-Vice Squad is that whilst some are born/develop that way  many have experienced child abuse during critical stages of puberty. I have genuine sympathy for the 1 in 10,000.
