Title: Using Araldite
Post by: mike the bike on January 15, 2021, 06:57:17 PM
Most of us have been using Araldite for years, squeezing it out on a piece of card, mixing it up with a stick etc.
I've been shown a better way at work and I thought it is worth sharing.

Pic 1.Araldite and sarnie bag
Pic 2 shape the corner of the sarnie bag
Pic 3  squirt Araldite in the corner of the bag. Mix it up with your fingers
Pic 4. Cut a tiny bit off the corner
Pic 5.  Squeeze the Araldite in, just like icing a cake.

Not done it myself but I believe if you mix Araldite with Baking Soda you can almost model it like Plasticine yet it still hardens to form a strong bond.
