Talking of DS Spares .I bought a new front guard for my 400/4 which does not fit .Emailed them to let them know and they said yes they are a bit tricky ! Hmm .

Picked this up at an Australia Post auction awhile back . Honda only made them for Australia post and NZ post in the run up to them being phased out . I think they first came out in the 1960s being 50 and 90cc .The 110 model was an upgrade but Honda wanted to sell the fuel injected Cub as it’s replacment . Good fun bikefor road and off-road. You could also have any colour as long as it was Red !

Just having a chat over a few beers and the subject of valve saver came up One says yes needed and another says not needed on a 75 400/4 as the valve seats where factory hardens .So anyone know who is right ?

Thanks I will check it out again over the weekend ..The guy I bought it off said there was a short somewhere . I think it more the reg/rec as it’s a spiders web and is housed under the seat with no air flow so I’m thinking as it says integra it’s notstandard.keep you posted Rob . PS I put another wiring loom on from David Silver . Plus Yam back light Ha !

Yes a few rattles at low reves but the bike is running good out on the highway .. I won’t be diving in at the moment . Another question is battery not charging . I have checked the altinator and it’s putting out power .Thinking of getting regulator rectifier one peace ha .

Thanks guys , it has crossed my mind on putting a split chain on . The guy I bought the bike off a few years ago said it was a hack so don’t know if he ment it was knackerd or just for hacking around on . The chains sounds a bit rateley on tick over but is better when you are cruising ..I will put some pics up when I figure out how too .Thanks again and watch this space .Rob .
