CB350/400 / CB400 Wannabe racer?

Hi Guys
I have a 1975 CB400/4 that I want too race with the problem is that performance parts are way too expensive if you pay by Rand so I need too come up with ways and means too get the bike quick for cheap which I know is far fetched but I'm going too try in any case. My main area would be high compression pistons I know Yoshimura have a 54.5mm kit but after converting it costs nearly R 8000
And conrods are even more expensive
So any advice or help will be appreciated.
