'All gone now'
Anyone would think they have died Julie!  :( See them as daughters that have flown the nest, I'm sure they have gone to good homes.  ;)
Meanwhile six still at home between two of you sounds manageable!  8)
My own mechanical mistress has got me all to herself!  ;D
Yes George, they have all gone to very good homes and lovely customers.

Did you sell the original pipes off it on FB Julie? Seemed like a good deal to me.
No, not yet Ash, some interest but still available at the moment. I may put them on here but I can't think of anyone that may be looking for a set of HM323's at the moment.

I thought you had sold that bike last year Julie?
No, I put it up for sale Dave last Septemberish, but then we decided to go away on holiday for a few weeks, so I removed the listing. By the time I thought about relisting it, it was late in the riding season so didn't bother.I finally got around to listing it again in mid April and it sold.
Edit.... Maybe you were thinking about the gold 750 K2 Dave, I sold that last summer and amended the ad to say 'Sold to Billy' 😁😁😁

The last of all the Honda fours Graham has restored over the past few years, went to its new owner yesterday, the UK model 500K0. Keep an eye around the Bristol area, you may see it about.
That leaves us with 6 riding bikes between us, our own bikes, which we intend keeping.
It feels quite empty here now, not enough  bikes to trip over or navigate around in the garage / workshop / house.

It's got something to do with the package/ programme Steve uses, it's a check system or something. Steve will explain I'm sure.

The old ones you are referring to are like a bakolite. Cut a chanel in them and remove them before powder coating etc. Just cut lengthway with a hacksaw blade and prise out. Then cover the ends for powder coating. I sell the bronze bush replacements.

Not all my bikes need full choke for cold start. Have you got the jet needles set in the correct notch? Do you know if the jet needles are the compatible ones for the jets?. The needles are profiled and if it's not seating correctly due to being worn, or the incorrect part, ie, aftermarket, it will always let fuel through at the incorrect rate. It's obviously over fueling because at full turns out on the mixture screws, she should be running very lean indeed.

22mm Hubert. If the carbs are clean, float valves seating correctly, no pitting in float valve seats, float pivots free and moving, then 22mm measured at the correct place stops any leaks.

I've got an Italian Mold Lab kit sitting on the shelf here Ash, I'm intending fitting it to my 500K1, just haven't got around to it yet, it's on the list of things for me to do 🙄🙄🙄. It looks a great kit and those I know that have fitted it are very happy with it.

Wear limit spec is 70mm. Does anyone know what this measurement is with a brand new chain?

If you place a primary chain upright and the top row sags to contact with the bottom row the chain is finished. As to how close you'll let it come to that I guess is up to you.
George, that only works on Hyvo primaries, like the 400/500/550's. 750 chains are different, they are not Hyvo, they are a lot thinner and there are 2 of them, side by side.

The dowels aren't locked to either part Mike, they are totally removable. It's just the corrosion that's making them feel locked at the moment.
