Do you mean you have chromed the hubs? in which case getting the retainers out will wreck the chrome.

have you drilled out the "stakings?"

Rust at the top of the legs dont show as its under the headlamp brackets

Chipping Norton at 3am was every so pretty --NOT--- with a 53 ft artic

Got some in Glos but goes from 1/2 inch to nowt regularly. Then again just started snowing again.

Tell you what, if the bores were worn and oval that motor has been abused and run with no aircleaner, I can remember a 120,000 miler where even the ring gaps were still in tolerance!!!

G5 has 'lecy start CJ is kick only, apart from that mostly same.
BEFORE you lay out on an exhaust remove the top cover and check operation of cam chain tensioner and state of camchain plus cam bearings all it will cost is time + gasket goo. Clean out centrifugal oil filter on end of crank. At one time you could get pattern silencers to fit original front pipes. Mostly same as CB360 (more common in US) and i think Dave Silver has many parts.

650 plug give me a call sometime and i will talk you through it as best i can.

Any other help ask and i will try

Now if this is a 750 and you have the head off those 6mm threaded studs/bolts holding the cam towers strip out regularly and better than helicoil is "keensert" which you can find at:-

and look at the catalogue. They do do the spark plug one but you have to tap out to M16 and i dont know if the head has enough meat for that!!

They are a fractionaly different size, I think the bullets are slightl bigger from memory which makes a good fit into the Honda loom connectors just crimp up the females a bit to make the original bullets fit tight----sounds a bit perverted when i re read that!

Dont forget the 2 and 3/4 way females with shrouds when you order

Get Suzuki bits from www.cmsnl.com and look up the 500 of the right year, all the same except bores.

Suzuki:-Watch for siezed brakes and swing arm bushes/brearings (no greasers and kin expensive!!).

Honda:-If its pre dream it has to be G5---Disc brake, strip engine in frame but problematic camchain tensioner OR K4--drum brake, engine out to do anything.

I have some books for the G5 somewhere but no promises

No problem mate, is that just a wet dream 250 or the old G5, worked on lots of those too!

GS450? import or UK i did an import for a mate last year and had a swine getting parts.

No problem with number as long as people stick to times quoted i dont care as i am an LGV driver and work nights (with bluetooth earpiece)

Its not difficult if you get the complete kit with insertion tool not just the tap and coils, you will also need a drill of an "odd" but getable size. and if you are going to buy the kit i would try it in situ first, if you have to take the head off to clean it what have you lost.
