Hi guys, Mick from Buxton in Derbyshire. After the idea had been rattling around in my cavernous skull for some time I bought a 400/4 wreck to try to bring back to life, and also bring back a bit of my past life, as this was my second bike many years ago. I followed the path of many others before me (er, well just Google really...) and arrived at the SOHC/4 site, introduced myself there and SteveD pointed me to our own group here (that's the problem with Google - too USA biased). Already picked up some great tips and ideas so hoping for even more relevant stuff on home turf!
My operative bike is a Triumph Legend which was poorly when I got it, as was the Thunderbird before it. I learned everything about them from the Hinckley Classic Triples forum and am now able to pass on my knowledge to others new to the foibles of these machines. I'm hoping to do the same here ;D

Thanks for the welcome folks!
Tim, I'll pick up the coils tomorrow when I take my Legend for MOT, thanks.
Steven400/4, how many have you got exactly? This could be valuable ammunition in fighting off the missus! It's really good when members list their current bikes in their sigs.

You should change your name to "steven400/4s" ;D
But then, I've got 3 500/4s so I guess I'd have to change mine too...
