I can recommend a YAS1,

had one from new,
Truly magical to ride,

Build quality not as good as Honda

Didn't realise you were running non standard pods and exhaust

As others will comment, short pods don't work well,

The intake length is designed to work with a plenum chamber/airbox

It's to do with the pulses of the airstream

Good luck

NRP carbs

Those are a big increase on standard for the mains

I seem to remember the inner was two lengths

Standard about 20mm

Short about 13mm

The shorter were for high speed,

The centre being less likely to lift at high speed,

Just trying to replace the alloy washers at the camshaft ends

I am trying Dowty seals

Same size,thickness

Should be an acceptable substitute

Only the pivot hole,

I took 0.5mm from both sides of the shoes

I found after market shoes are to wide at the pivot end,

I normally use a file to remove some alloy so the double washer and split pins fit,

Just care needed to get the shoes to fit square

A Dremel type tool is probably something I should have bought over a thirty tears  ago when I was doing all my home DIY.

For how much I would use one today I can't justify the outlay - a recommended cheapo might be an option.
I think mine costs about £12 with assorted tools,
