CB500/550 / Some luck at last! NOS HM323 pipes.
« on: February 01, 2020, 04:05:39 PM »
After months of searching high and low and no joy whatsoever I mentioned to a mate who I hadn't seen for a while that we couldn't get a set of pipes for the K0 project..... "I've got a brand new set in the loft that are still in the Honda boxes, they're no use to me. Also I've gota new tank and side panels if that's any use?"
Sometimes a bit of luck does come your way!

CB500/550 / Tachometer gear/cover wanted
« on: January 07, 2020, 09:57:52 AM »
Hi folks.
I wondered if anyone had a tachometer gear & cover lying around that they would like to sell (number 9 & 10 in the picture)? They are available at CMSNL new but they are not cheap and the cost of this project seems to be spiralling by the day. Thanks, Andy

CB500/550 / K0 seat
« on: July 14, 2019, 10:36:27 PM »
Good evening,
The seat base on our 500 K0 project is rotten and unfortunately it has gone past the point of repair.
Does anyone happen to know if there are any available at the moment?
Even the pattern parts seem to be out of stock.
Thanks.
Andy and Pete.

CB500/550 / 500 K0 fork dampers
« on: June 14, 2019, 03:35:01 PM »
Help please!
The fork dampers on our project CB500 K0 are broken. If the front wheel were to come off the ground there would be nothing to stop the stanchions coming out of the legs/sliders.
David Silver tells us that we can't buy a new replacement.
Any ideas what we can do?
Thanks in advance.
Andy and Pete.

CB500/550 / New CB500 K0 project. USA vs UK spec?
« on: May 30, 2019, 03:59:41 PM »
Hi ladies and gents,
I'm quite new to the forum.
My Dad and I have embarked on a restoration project which is a US import CB500 K0.
My first of many questions I'm sure is what is the difference between the US and UK bike?
We are off to the Normous Newark autojumble on Sunday and don't want to get caught out buying the wrong bits.
Thanks in advance Andy and Pete.

Hi ladies and gents,
Thanks for accepting me as a new member of the forum. My Dad and I have just purchased a 1971 CB500 K0 which has been imported from America. We are planning on restoring it to its former glory. I'll apologise in advance for the silly questions that will no doubt start once we get the project under way.
