Title: 1975 CB550K1 - Jade Green
Post by: JamesH on June 04, 2013, 09:40:48 PM: Latest addition to my fleet...just arrived from the US. One owner, 14k miles, stunning condition. Small dent on the tank needs sorting - anyone know any good Paintless Dent technicians who work on bike tanks?

Cant wait to get her out on the road once UK MOT'd / registered..

Post by: JamesH on June 04, 2013, 11:16:15 PM: Yeah is pretty special Pete. Probably the cleanest unrestored 70's Honda I've been lucky enough to own. Had a small bikini fairing on from new, so front indicators were relocated to the headlamp m10 x 25 screw position - so I'll need to sort that as well.
Freshly rebuilt carbs ready to go on - can't wait. I've been looking for one this clean for a long long time.

I'd also be interested in how you located this bike, how much it cost and how you brought it over. I've always fancied a 550K1 but I don't think they sold them in the UK.

I do repairs and custom paint work etc. on bikes. if I can see it can tell you how to go about it yourself.

Here you go Busa. I really want to avoid painting the tank as its original paint and almost perfect (apart from the bloody big dent ha ha...). :-)
