Title: Which valve stem seal to take?
Post by: eem46 on January 27, 2020, 03:03:30 PM
Dear All,

Just got my Honda CB400F cylinder head back from the machine shop, which valve stem seal (12209-333-005) would you advice? NOS, Athena or NE Viton ones or other?
Please advise.

Kind regards,

Emiel

Use the ones that came in your gasket set.

Hi Julie, thank you for your reply. Which brand of gasket set do you use? I bought all seals and gaskets NOS.

I use NE Brand gasket set Emiel. The valve steem seals were good and have caused me no problems at all.
